About Us
We are Volunteers
The Chattahoochee Mountain Fair (a member of the Georgia Association of Agricultural Fairs) will celebrate its 48th year this Fall as the annual event is once again held at the Habersham County Fairgrounds.
The Fair dates this year are September 8-16. There will be engaging ground shows, spirited livestock shows, delicious food, diverse vendors and a spectacular midway filled with rides and games.
The support of local businesses is vital to the success of the Chattahoochee Mountain Fair. As a non-profit organization the Fair depends on area sponsors and community participation to be successful. Each year the Fair showcases local crafters, artists, photographers, bakers, 4-H members, FFA members, and entertainers and provides a venue through which local businesses can reach their customers.
Those who attend the Chattahoochee Mountain Fair find fun, fellowship and entertainment and spend their time and money in the local area further creating a sense of community. As a result, the Fair supports the community by investing in local businesses and in our citizens and students through events held at the Fair. In addition, there are three scholarships directly awarded to local students and students can compete for three more scholarships awarded by the Georgia Association of Agricultural Fairs. This year students associated with the Chattahoochee Mountain Fair brought home two of the three GAAF scholarships!
